In our cross-mentoring program, we connect highly qualified women with decision-makers in senior leadership positions who bring extensive executive experience and significant decision-making authority. Through targeted networking, mentoring, and cross-company collaboration, we create a framework that prepares women for leadership roles. Through our mentoring program, we strategically increase the visibility of our mentees within the top management of their organizations. In doing so, we foster not only professional development, but also positioning, visibility, and access to the right networks and key decision-makers.

Our network of 129 individual members and 37 corporate member companies brings together experienced leaders and high-potential professionals from more than 100 organizations. These include numerous DAX-listed companies such as thyssenkrupp, Deutsche Telekom, E.ON, SAP SE, and Porsche AG, as well as publicly listed companies including Brenntag, L’Oréal, Schaeffler, AUDI, All for One, and many others. Among our members and representatives of our member companies, 89 hold senior leadership positions in top management as Managing Directors or C-level executives. A further 38 members serve at board level or hold positions on supervisory and advisory boards, contributing extensive strategic expertise and decision-making experience.

IWiL mentors provide female talents from our member companies with external perspectives, fresh insights, and valuable guidance. Through their collaboration with mentees, they contribute their leadership experience and expertise to support both individual development and organizational success—making mentoring a valuable complement to internal talent development programs. Member companies gain direct access to IWiL’s cross-industry network of C-level executives, supervisory board members, and senior decision-makers. By engaging with leaders from diverse sectors, organizations benefit from new perspectives, innovative approaches, and fresh solutions to current challenges. An IWiL membership also demonstrates a clear commitment to equal opportunities, inclusive leadership, and the advancement of women in leadership positions.
