Our Executive Board
The IWiL Executive Board consists of five members: Sabine Hansen and Dr. Natalie Daghles are joined by three other dedicated individuals from the IWiL network. Nicole Riggers, a long-standing mentor at IWiL, is responsible for relationship management. Dr. Werner Grünewald, also an experienced mentor, oversees financial and operational management. Dr. Maike Albus-Malkus, a former mentee and faculty member of the LeadershipNext Academy, is in charge of program and communications management.

Dr. Natalie Daghles
"As an Equity Partner and Co-Head of our M&A practice at Noerr, I have built my career largely in a male-dominated environment. Throughout M&A projects and negotiations, I have repeatedly experienced how diverse teams deliver better results and respond more flexibly to changing situations. Along my professional journey, key impulses from inside and outside the firm have been crucial in helping me make the right decisions at pivotal moments — including reconciling a demanding career with family life. Cross-mentoring provides space for the often-neglected strategic reflection on one's own career."

Nicole Riggers
"As a founding member, mentor, and board member of IWiL, I stand for sustainability, inclusion, and equal opportunity. A sustainable working world is the foundation of innovation and long-term success. For me, sustainable leadership means taking responsibility — for people, the environment, and society. It creates space for growth, supports diversity, and builds bridges for the next generation of leaders. Every decision we make today shapes the world of tomorrow. Let us work together to ensure that fairness and sustainability are not just buzzwords, but a lived reality."

Dr. Werner Grünewald
"I am driven by the conviction that sustainable success is only possible within diverse and fair leadership cultures – and that includes, above all, the targeted promotion of women. At IWiL, I am committed to breaking down barriers and facilitating women's access to leadership positions. It inspires me to be part of a movement that creates real equal opportunities and empowers female leadership."

Dr. Maike Albers-Malkus
"I am driven by the conviction that true leadership is only sustainable when it embraces diversity, actively fosters equality, and lives up to the promise of equal opportunity. At IWiL, I am committed to making talented women visible, supporting them on their path to top executive positions, and helping to build more diverse leadership structures for the long term."
