Es ist wieder soweit – ein Jahr unseres Mentoring-Programms ist vorbei und am 30. März 2022 feiern wir den offiziellen Abschluss der IWiL Mentee Klasse 2022 bei Brenntag in Essen.
Wir freuen uns mit unseren Mentees und Mentoren dieses besondere Ereignis zu feiern und feierlich das fünfte Mentoring-Jahr abzuschließen.
Auch die Mentee Klasse 2022 erlebte viele digitale und Live-Veranstaltungen, die das Netzwerk und das Mentoring gestärkt und unterstützt haben. Die Gäste der Abschlussfeier erwartet ein entspannter Abend. Wir freuen uns sehr auf die Reden von Dr. Christian Kohlpaintner (CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Brenntag) und Marion Mestrom (Chief Human Resources Officer, Brenntag Group).

It’s that time again – one year of our mentoring program is over and on March 30th, 2022 we will celebrate the official closing of the IWiL Mentee Class 2022 at Brenntag in Essen.
We are looking forward to celebrating this special event with our mentees and mentors and festively closing the fifth mentoring year.
The Mentee Class 2022 also experienced many digital and live events that strengthened and supported the network and mentoring. Guests at the graduation ceremony can expect a relaxed evening. We are very much looking forward to the speeches by Dr. Christian Kohlpaintner (CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Brenntag) and Marion Mestrom (Chief Human Resources Officer, Brenntag Group).
We are looking forward to the dinner, the exchange and a nice evening with our guests.
Wir freuen uns darauf, die Kick-Off in diesem Jahr live zu veranstalten und so unseren Mentees und Mentoren einen persönlichen Austausch zu ermöglichen.

Aber was erwartet unsere Top 30+ Mentees und Mentoren vor Ort?
Am Freitag, den 25. Februar 2022 findet unsere Kick Off 2022 für die neue Mentee Klasse and der WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management Düsseldorf statt. Hier haben unsere Top 30+ Mentees die Möglichkeit in zwei Match-Up Runden mit ihren möglichen Mentoren und Mentorinnen zu treffen. Zudem besteht die Chance sich mit weiteren Gästen auszutauschen und zu vernetzen und spannenden Vorträgen zu lauschen.

Unsere Gründerinnen Sabine Hansen und Dr. Natalie Daghles werden unsere Gäste gegen 8:30 Uhr offiziell begrüßen und somit unsere Kick Off beginnen. Weiter geht es mit einem spannenden Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Miriam Müthel, Professorin für Organizational Behavior an der WHU, zum Thema „Why Trust Matters“.
Damit unsere Mentees 2022 einen spannenden Einblick in das Cross-Mentoring Programm von IWiL erhalten können, werden unsere Mentorin Ilse Henne, CEO Operating Unit Materials Germany bei Thyssenkrupp Schulte, und unsere Mentee 2021 Cornelia Folz, Vice President bei Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, den Teilnehmenden einen Eindruck in ihre Mentoring Erfahrung aus dem Jahr 2021 geben.
Darauf werden unsere Mentees die Möglichkeit haben sich in einem 60-sekündigen Elevator Pitch den anderen Mentees und Mentoren vorzustellen.
Wir freuen uns sehr auf den Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Beatrix Busse, Professor of English Linguistics & Vice-Rector Student Affairs and Teaching von der Uni Köln, zum Thema „encourageventures: Driving more diversity into angel investing and startups“.
Das Highlight des Tages werden die beiden Meet-Ups zwischen Mentee und Mentor sein. In den Meet-Ups haben die Mentees die Möglichkeit zwei unserer Mentoren kennenzulernen und ihren perfekten Tandem Partner für unser Cross-Mentoring Programm zu finden.
Wir sind gespannt und freuen uns auf den Austausch bei der Kick Off 2022.

We are looking forward to hosting the Kick-Off live this year, allowing our mentees and mentors to exchange their experiences in person.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management Düsseldorf for allowing us to host the most important day for IWiL on the premises of WHU and for the active support of the staff.
But what awaits our top 30+ mentees and mentors on site?
On Friday, February 25, 2022, our Kick Off 2022 for the new mentee class will take place at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management Düsseldorf. Here, our top 30+ mentees will have the opportunity to meet with their potential mentors in two match-up rounds. There will also be the chance to network with other guests and listen to exciting presentations.
Agenda
Our founders Sabine Hansen and Dr. Natalie Daghles will officially welcome our guests around 8:30 am and thus start our Kick Off. We will continue with an exciting presentation by Prof. Dr. Miriam Müthel, Professor of Organizational Behavior at WHU, on the topic of “Why Trust Matters”.
To give our 2022 mentees an exciting insight into IWiL’s cross-mentoring program, our mentor Ilse Henne, CEO Operating Unit Materials Germany at Thyssenkrupp Schulte, and our 2021 mentee Cornelia Folz, Vice President at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, will give participants a glimpse into their 2021 mentoring experience.
After that, our mentees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the other mentees and mentors in a 60-second elevator pitch.
